Manufacturing Process
Quotation
Upon receipt of a quote request a salesperson will begin the development of a quotation according to the customer requested specifications.  Members of the design team and original equipment manufacturers are consulted to ensure the proper case style, size and interior configuration is quoted on.  A detailed quotation outlining all of the components of the case to be built will then be emailed to the customer.

Design
Once a quotation is approved the specifications are forwarded to the design team where a computer aided drawing (CAD) is created.  The drawing details dimensions, materials, interior layout and hardware placement.  This drawing is forwarded to the customer for approval, allowing the customer to have a visual representation of the case before it is built.  Any requested changes will be made by the design team before the order is sent into production. 

Production
All work orders forwarded to the production facility are given to the shop foreman.  Material requirements are pulled from the order and are picked and taken to work cells. 
  • Shells are die-cut and then formed. 
  • Strapping and hardware are added and fastened.
  • All shells are glued and crown stapled to ensure long-term durability.
  • Completed shells are then cleaned prior to interior layout.
  • Case shells are then transported to interior cells.  Foam cuts are completed assembled and fastened to the interior of the case. 
  • Finished boxes are then cleaned and sent to shipping to be wrapped, packaged and labeled for shipment.

All manufacturing processes are audited every 6 months by an independent third party as part of ISO-9001 certification.  As part of this process a commitment to developing new and better processes is required and a commitment to utilizing new machines and equipment for greater efficiency is required.
